Information used to arrange appointments
When you enquire, you may provide your name, contact details, location, availability and booking information. These are used to answer you, arrange appointments and administer the service. Please avoid sending detailed health information through initial WhatsApp or social media messages.
Consultation and health information
Relevant health information may be needed to assess whether treatment is suitable and to keep treatment records. Health data receives additional protection. The purpose, lawful basis and applicable special-category condition must be explained before it is collected.
Lawful bases: Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and performance of a contract for bookings and service delivery; legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and securely administering the business; and legal obligation where records must be kept by law.. Who receives information?
The static website has no enquiry form, advertising pixels or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process technical access and security logs, such as IP addresses. WhatsApp, Facebook and any booking provider process information under their own policies when you choose to use them. Only information necessary for delivering and administering the service should be shared with service providers.
Actual record, booking and payment systems: Consultation and treatment records are digital and stored in a separate password-protected cloud service. Booking enquiries may also be held in WhatsApp, email or Facebook, and bank-transfer payment records are held by the bank.. Review their security, processing terms and any international transfer arrangements before use.
How long is information kept?
Records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and meet applicable professional, insurance, accounting and legal obligations. Records are reviewed periodically and securely deleted when they are no longer required.. Retention must reflect the purpose of each record and relevant professional, insurer and legal requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, have it deleted, restrict its use, object to processing or request portability. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Contact Tom first with any concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and external links
The website files do not set cookies or use browser storage, embedded maps, social feeds, analytics or tracking pixels. No cookie consent banner is included for this configuration. Your hosting provider's published version and any future additions must be checked separately. Links to other services open those providers' websites, where their privacy and cookie policies apply.
